KD's Investments, The Rockets Might Be the Second Largest Market
Howdy!
💡Who has the better portfolio KD or LeBron, I researched KD's portfolio & he is invested in many AI/Fin-Tech companies, & Beehive- a newsletter company that is often used (inspired this).
📈While doing some analysis for a post, I saw that KD is so efficient from mid-range, a shot is worth 1.1pts (beats many player's layups).
📊The best 15 offenses now all score 1.12+PtsPerPoss. It seems that scoring is now a given and the challenge is to actually stop offenses, my take is that creative defensive coaches are going to be the ones who dominate the next 5 years.
☘️On that Note the Celtics have not missed a beat on defense, remaining top defense even wo Rob Williams
🧱Here is a random take I have after seeing a Kirk Goldsberry post, Shooting Percentages do not matter, shot quality does & sometimes players have to take shots to avoid hurting their team (ie Ben Simmons), so I wouldn't care too much about shooting% if the shots are good.
🥩I officially have beef w Kirk Goldsberry & I am fed up with his manipulation of data for likes, going forward in the future I want this account to be proof that analytics & NBA data have an audience.
⛹️♀️While researching my audience reach, I noticed roughly 20% of American women would occasionally watch and engage with basketball on social media, meaning content that only covers men's basketball actually limits a media company like ESPN since they do not reach 10% of potential audience.
🚀Additionally, during my research I saw that Houston actually had the second most NBA fans, yet Houston is often thought of as a mid-size market despite their population, maybe they need better marketing?
👋Thank you & lmk your thoughts!
